A Level Success 2018

Headteacher at Beauchamps High School, Mr Mat Harper, is delighted that once again the school and students have lived up to their “Outstanding” rating in celebrating excellent A Level and BTEC results this week.  The average point score achieved was 43.5 (equivalent to a B+ grade) and with a 100% pass rate in all subjects and qualifications and 54% of all A level grades at A*- B, students had a great deal to be excited about!

Top performers included:

RHYS A - A*A*A*A*
HANNAH B - A* A A
ALEX R - A A B
ESME R - A A B
ZOE S - A* B B
BEN G - B B B
JACK S - B B B

In BTEC Business Studies, Lucy W performed brilliantly, passing with all Distinctions, and all other students achieved a combination of Merits and Distinctions – an excellent result for all concerned.

The vast majority of students attained grades which ensured that they could move on to their first choice of university and many of the top performers are off to some of the best universities in the country.  Others have secured apprenticeships and their dream jobs. Rhys, the school’s top performer at A Level with 4 A*s, is planning to study Maths at Bath University and the school is extremely proud of his very well deserved results; a testament to his hard work and perseverance over the past two years.

Congratulations to all of our successful students who have worked so hard over the years.  Also thanks to the staff for their efforts and inspiration and to the parents for their continued support.
