Headteacher's Welcome

Dear Parents,

Dear Parents, May I say a very warm welcome to all our new students in all Year groups. I hope they have found the first half term at Beauchamps High School to be enjoyable and trust they are now well settled. The end of last term saw the whole school involved in weeks of activities leading up to the Rio Olympics. It was fantastic to see so many students get involved in the activities that took place around school. The Olympics is always such an inspiring event and it is great to see students demonstrating Olympic values and trying out new sports and activities in which they might not ordinarily have had the opportunity to take part. I am also very proud of the four students who won the ‘Get Set To Ace It’ competition. It was a great honour for the students to have their motivational speech delivered to the GB tennis teams in Rio! This year has started with a Duke of Edinburgh expedition, celebrations of our students successes at the Jack Petchey Award and PiXL Award ceremonies and some fantastic fundraising. Our STEM activities are also continuing and we now have five students attending the Royal Institution Engineering Masterclasses on Saturdays during the Autumn term. We are looking forward to another busy and very successful year at Beauchamps High School. I would like to thank parents for your continued support and our students and staff for their positive attitude to the start of this new half term and academic year.

Mr Hodges, Headteacher
