Sixth Form

All students have an experienced Academic Mentor, a specialist in one of their chosen subjects, who provides personalised, individual support, through information, advice and guidance. The school ensures students follow a coherent pastoral programme of study that will enrich their life and also best support their chosen progression route after Sixth Form. Students are also encouraged to take advantage of the rich educational and social opportunities offered. All students take part in an Enrichment programme on a Wednesday afternoon.
Sixth Form students are heavily involved in the Lower School and are given leadership roles and responsibilities in the form of mentoring younger students, running clubs, supporting in lessons and as reading mentors. This ensures the connection between the Sixth Form and main school year groups, providing aspiration and insight to Sixth Form life for younger children. At the same time there is opportunity to provide service to the school and the wider community; a valuable learning experience for later life.
We believe it is absolutely vital to prepare the next generation for the world of work, and offer an integrated careers programme and independent advice and guidance; we are privileged to be involved with a number of ‘Ambassadors’ Programmes that offer our students insight and inspiration into the next step of their journey beyond the sixth form.
