WELCOME

Mr Harper – Headteacher

It is my huge privilege to be Headteacher at Beauchamps High School, an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive school and I am honoured to lead such an inspirational group of staff and students. Our shared vision ensures that the Beauchamps community is a family, in which everyone aspires to achieve their best and beyond and our core values underpin everything we do.

The Sixth Form Committee

Emily

My aims over the next two years are to run various events for the students and teachers to enjoy and come together as a community. I would also like to put forward some ideas on how to bridge the gap between the two sixth form year groups. Myself and the ambassador team are looking to leave a legacy once we leave, for future students.

Emma

One of my main priorities is to develop ‘SASH’, Students Against Sexual Harassment, even further: it is so important to me that the younger students know that they have the sixth formers here to support them. I firmly believe that everyone can help someone, and thus we can all play an important role in being there for one another. I would use my influence as Lead Ambassador to continue leading assemblies so I can spread this message and develop SASH as to how I envisioned it to be.

Ella

Over the next year, I aim to make school an enjoyable place and to unite all students after the numerous restrictions Covid has created. This will be achieved by taking charge of sporting and social events and activities for students to participate in, and my position as senior ambassador will allow me to take ideas from peers and put them forward to the leadership team, creating a broad range of potential events which I will help organise.

Tay

Being a Senior Ambassador gives students a voice and can help build a cohesive connection between staff and students which is what I feel the duty of an ambassador should be. I’m looking forward to regular meetings with senior staff to offer opinions and discuss ideas.

William

I aim to represent the school and Lead the Student Voice to create a better community at Beauchamps for every student. I want to encourage everybody to push themselves so they can strive to achieve their very best and carry that determination to succeed forward in their lives. I’m also aiming to achieve the top grades in all of my A levels where I then intend to apply for Cambridge University to continue my studies.

Ayomide

My aim for the next two years is to make sure that the school continues to be a happy environment for all students and a place where everyone feels comfortable and ready to learn. I also hope to bring new opportunities and experiences for all students especially after the year we’ve all been through; I hope that during this time I’m able to make a positive difference even if that means just getting smile from a student.

Sophie

The aim over the next two years for me personally is to increase the charity work that Beauchamps gets involved in including smaller, local charities. One of the most important aims is to make sure that every student feels involved and heard which I hope to achieve through my work as a senior ambassador alongside the other ambassadors.

Subjects Offered

Enrichment

At BHS Sixth Form, we believe that pushing students to fulfil their academic potential is essential because it allows them the best chance of securing highly competitive university, apprenticeship and employment places.

However, we also believe that it is vital we help students develop into well-rounded, socially and morally responsible young adults, who are comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities.
