Transition

WELCOME

Welcome to our Year 6 to Year 7 Transition pages and thank you for considering us. If we are your preferred choice, your child will be joining one of the most successful schools in Essex where we have a long tradition of outstanding performance. Examination results at the school are amongst the best in Essex and we place a strong emphasis on the quality of teaching and learning. As a student, your child will be expected to work hard at all times and to always do their best. We strive to ensure that all learners feel happy and safe through promoting a love of learning. The school has high expectations on behaviour, attendance, punctuality and appearance. Our students are expected to be polite, respectful and helpful and to wear their uniform with pride. Beauchamps High School is an exciting place and I hope to welcome you into the Beauchamps family.

I firmly believe that every year 6 student is welcomed as an integral part of the Beauchamps family. Transition into secondary school should be exciting, my role is to make this transition as smooth as possible for every child.

Mrs Wybrow

Mental Health Advisor

From time to time, thoughts and personal experiences can become worrying or difficult to cope with. In my role as Well Being Mentor, I can listen and support in school with these difficult times by encouraging the building of personal strengths and resilience. I can also signpost you to professional help when this may be needed. Developing positive mental health and wellbeing is promoted throughout Beauchamps.
