Mrs Olayinka Mosadomi

Vice Chair of Finance & Premises Committee - Co-opted Governor

Having been a school governor since September 2020 I have been through an intense and rigorous training regime which has afforded me the opportunity for personal development as well as great insight into the running of Wickford Primary School.   I have seen the efforts being made by the teachers and management working with the Local Authority to ensure the school delivers on its promise of turning the children into independent, motivated learners and responsible citizens which I enjoy being part of.

I have been able to confidently question the reports presented at meetings and visited the school on various occasions to monitor procedures.

I am a mum of 2, hold a BSc Hons in Computer Studies and work as an Analyst Programmer. In my spare time, I volunteer as a Junior Church teacher at my local church where I am part of a group of people that teach Bible study to primary school age children.  I am also the Managing Editor of the Church magazine.

Mr Paul Strange

Mr Paul Strange

Co Chair of Governors - Local Authority Governor

I spent over six years on the governing body of an Outstanding local school.  During that time, I made many visits, attended training, spent two years as Chair of the Resources Committee and took part in many committee and full governing body meetings.  I also took part in the school’s OFSTED inspection that reaffirmed the school as Outstanding. I am committed to excellence in education and access to quality teaching for students from all backgrounds and of all abilities. I am a former Beauchamps pupil who lives locally and whose eldest son is currently in year seven.  I have been very impressed by what I have seen in his first term and would like the opportunity to help continue the school’s excellent provision and of course help to develop and improve things where needed. I have worked in the third sector developing skills that include team and project management and managing large budgets. On a personal level I have experience of the needs of gifted and talented students and those with Special Educational Needs and with a wife who is a teacher at another school have a good understanding of the demands from a teaching perspective. I would work with the existing governing body to ensure Beauchamps is a safe, enriching environment that offers all students the best possible opportunities to achieve their full potential.
